How to reduce your carbon footprint

Getting Hadleigh towards Net Zero

Have a good look at the poster and its companion guide booklet (available via the links below if you don’t have a copy) to see how you can further reduce your carbon footprint.

In communities across Suffolk people are coming together to think about how they can get ready for the impact of climate change on their town or village. The debate is no longer about whether or not climate change is happening; it is about how we prepare for the changes that are coming, as well as how we can reduce our carbon footprint.

HEAT is bringing community members together, with an external facilitator, to look at questions such as ‘how can we keep energy bills affordable and supply reliable without fossil fuels?’, ‘how will we feed ourselves well when the climate makes growing food around the world more difficult?, ‘how can we help everyone get around without relying on fossil fuels?’ and ‘how can we protect our community when faced with floods and drought?’ More information will be given on the website as this evolves.
