A greener Hadleigh, acting together, with community at its heart.
HEAT is Hadleigh’s community-led environmental group. We’re local people working together to protect nature, cut waste and energy use, and make the town a greener place to live. We work on a range of local projects, including protecting wildlife, reducing household energy use and waste, supporting local food initiatives and improving green spaces. HEAT is not affiliated to any political party.
OUR BIGGEST PROJECT…
River Brett Festival, June-July 2027
A community-wide celebration of the River Brett and its wildlife, bringing families, schools and communities together. Music, dance, theatre, nature walks, history talks, art and a High Street parade, all run by local groups.
